What is Conscious Parenting?

Conscious Parenting is the practice of being present with yourself and your children. It is a healing process for the parent, not a way to “fix” our children. Too often we focus on the behavior of the child in front of us, not the spirit that shines before us. When we prioritize connection over correction, the bond between parent and child strengthens. If we can let go of the control a little bit, we can begin to see how our children are here to help us evolve and grow. They are our teachers. Allow them to wake us up to the present moment.

The most precious gift we can offer anyone is our attention. When mindfulness embraces those we love, they will bloom like flowers.
